Photo five

This is a successful drawing of just the knife in the pocket knife. This is communicated by cutting out the shape of the pocket knife then shading over it with a charcoal to create the outer lines of the pocket knife.

Photo four

This is successful at using two different mediums to show the different textures of the knife. The permit marker communicates the exact shape of the pocket knife.

This communicates every function the pocket knife has but does it in away without a ton of detail. It is successful by showing the features of the knife by erasing the knife from the graphite background.

Photo two

This is successful because it shows the outline and details of the pocket knife. It communicates the shape the knife takes when not in use.

Photo one

This successfully shows the 3D aspects of the pocket knife. This is communicated by the shading and value effect. It makes the pocket knife become more realistic.
